Fifty years in Glenwood
Since being established in 1973, we have been a part of the Glenwood community for 50 years.
Faithfully, our church began under the leadership of Pastor Dave Toro who was a missionary with his wife Bev who came from America to share the word of God. Little did they know that God would use them to start a thriving church in the Glenwood community.
Our church exists to glorify God by exalting Him, edifying believers, and evangelising the lost.
Our Pastoral Team
Pastor Andrew Courtis
Pastor Andrew joined our pastoral team in 2020 and is our Senior Pastor. He has ministered in churches in New South Wales and Victoria, received his Master’s in Theology from the Presbyterian Theological College (Melbourne) and completed his Doctor of Ministry at the Master’s Seminary (Los Angeles). Andrew oversees our church staff, public and regular services, and does most of the preaching. He is married to Dianne and has three children. He loves a good book, a good coffee, outdoor activities, and is passionate seeing people grow in their knowledge of God’s Word.
Pastor Ryan Connellan
Pastor Ryan oversees various discipleship and leadership aspects of the church. He also leads the small group and young adult ministries of the church. He is married to Janelle and has five daughters. He loves preaching the Bible, making and drinking good coffee and when he has time, watching or playing basketball.
